Supporting AB 797 and Opposing SB 782

For those reading this from Altadena, here is another reminder of how we have to address the “fight” through the establishment of a Dogooder account. Forward this e-mail out to whoever. If you are a California resident, it is good to send the information as Altadena will affect more than us locally.

Here is the thing. Before you go in, you have to customize the second letter and third. It will not send without it. Do not get frustrated. You just need to take a second and remove something add in another. It will go then.

You will get to see three letters. There is one to the federals around Opportunity Zones. Keep going. The second is to the Senate Pro Tem around AB 797. The third is to our local State representatives to stop SB 782.

Also, we need to add in Juan Carrillo, the Chair of the Local Government Committee in the Assembly. His contact is here. Send him your opposition to SB 782, the same as the letter to Senator Perez and Assemblymember Harabedian. Just cut and paste the the letter.

Last we will work on the piece for Speaker Rivas opposing SB 782. I will work that one up. Thank you to those who are setting up these initiatives in our community to express our desires. We are so far ahead of the Palisades folks.
