Becerra- if only you listened

If you have not seen, Xavier Becerra had a disastrous television interview with KTLA yesterday.

Just want to say, I offered a way out of all this. A couple weeks back, I offered a path for him to do a drop dead press conference. The idea was to get it all out there. Let the media ask whatever they wanted. Let the issue be asked and answered. If anyone questioned events later, you say, “already addressed…”

Others? They would run from such a situation. You get to take the high ground right?

Ah, now I get it. His performance with KTLA tells me why he did not want to do it. Too bad. If he had, would the disastrous interview have been a news story? What was there to fear? Did he not just inject more questions to the numerous concerns around his candidacy beginning to show up?

Oh well, another missed opportunity in this race. He will limp across the finish line with his 25% of votes courtesy of Bearstar, but, he better hope it is Hilton on the other side. If it is Steyer, things could get interesting fast.

Remember this moment and the advice given. Like Mahan, another miss, another unforced error. Questions abound because he has not addressed the questions. Limping to the General might not be the magic bullet he hopes it is. Who knows who he faces then.
